Camshaft Engineering has reground Diesel fuel injection pump
camshafts for many years, and have a wide range of cam masters
covering most injector pumps in use in this State. These include
Bosch, Caterpillar, CAV, Gardiner, Komatsu, amongst others.
In the regrinding of injector pump lobes, particular attention is given
to obtaining fine surface finish, to ensure durability under the
very high contact loads between the lobe and the follower. Where required,
lobes are ground to common base circle size to facilitate pump
assembly and calibration.
